The name selected for this group is "Mobile Weighing Association of Australia" and Ric McDonald from Vanweigh is the inaugural chair.

A steering committee has been formed with 7 operators from around Australia with the aim of setting up an association that can set some guidelines under which we all work, including but not limited to , the quality of the reports issued to customers, the minimum standard of information being supplied, the types of surfaces that are acceptable to weigh on etc.
